Our cruise on...Sky Princess

Three travel bloggers share their experience on the Princess fleet’s newest ship

Updated October 2020

Sky Princess – and her sister ship Enchanted Princess – are not only two of the Princess fleet's newest ships, they are also some of the most technologically advanced, luxurious and innovative cruise ships in the world. We hear from three travel bloggers about what they loved when they travelled through the Mediterranean on Sky Princess...

I felt like a VIP

I tried for the first time… the Mayan Heat cocktail, created by master mixologist Rob Floyd. The flavours were like nothing I’d experienced before and there was a cheeky jalapeño kick – delicious!

I experienced... an incredible hot-stone massage at the Lotus Spa that left me totally relaxed. I essentially floated into The Enclave thermal suite afterwards.

I went off the beaten track... in the Old Town of Kotor. I wandered the narrow cobbled side streets full of charming secret balconies.

I ate the most amazing… gooey black and blue onion soup at the Crown Grill. I could have happily had it at every meal.

I’ll never forget... how comfortable my Princess Luxury Bed was. If it wasn’t for all the great things to do onboard I could have spent the whole day snuggled up in it.

I was surprised by... the incredible OceanMedallion. I was able to order coffee and snacks to my table through the MedallionClass app and the bar staff knew my name and favourite cocktail the minute I approached. It made me feel like a VIP.

There was so much to discover

I tried for the first time… a cruise! Sky Princess was my first ever cruise and I loved it. Being on a brand-new ship was unforgettable.

I experienced… the incredible Rock Opera show, just one of the amazing Princess entertainment options. The production and performers were mind-blowing.

I ate the most amazing... sushi at the Ocean Terrace seafood bar. It was prepared to order and was tantalisingly good.

I’ll never forget… the sail away party. The sun was setting over Trieste, there was so much energy and everyone was excited. It was the perfect start to our trip.

I left revitalised

I tried for the first time… OceanMedallion. I was amazed how easy it was to board Sky Princess, walk into my room hands-free and receive highly personalised service.

I experienced… the thrill of The SeaWalk – the glass-bottomed walkway on Deck 17. It’s the perfect way to get the blood pumping by looking at the waves splashing beneath your feet, 128 feet below!

I went off the beaten track… in the lush mountains of Montenegro, hiking up the Ladder of Kotor.

I connected with… myself in the serenity of The Sanctuary. I was able to unwind in my private cabana while looking out to sea. I recommend ordering a fresh bento box and afternoon tea while you’re there.
