Twenty five years together is something to be celebrated, so make sure you mark this momentous occasion with a suitably grand cruise that the two of you will remember forever. There are tons of destinations to choose from when planning your ultimate anniversary holiday, so pick one that best suits you both, whether that’s a relaxing beach trip, an active adventure, a family-friendly location or something else entirely.
Wherever you’re headed, make it extra-romantic by opting for an anniversary package on your cruise. Start the day with fancy pastries, pop the fizz and even enjoy a luxurious spa session together.
So, where to set sail to? Here are some of our favourite 25th anniversary ideas, encompassing destinations to suit a wide range of interests, while still ensuring an unforgettable trip.

Boston, the capital of Massachusetts, is an exciting and beautiful city, while its waterside location and leafy parks make it just perfect for romantic walks. We particularly recommend wandering the green stretch of the Charles River Esplanade for fantastic views over towards Cambridge. Afterwards, explore the cafés around pretty Harvard Square, which frames the USA’s oldest university. If you fancy swapping two feet for two wheels, however, consider sightseeing on a bicycle landmarks tour instead.
If you’re after a family-friendly destination for your celebratory trip, Mexico is a fine choice. Coastal towns like the bustling Puerto Vallarta are packed with activities for all ages, from child-friendly beaches and watersports to tequila-tasting tours for the adults of the group. If you want to make the whole experience even more memorable, book a sunset voyage aboard a luxurious yacht from the picture-perfect Bay of Banderas. Onboard, you’ll enjoy an open bar and have the chance to spot dolphins and whales on the horizon.

Golden sands, palm-fringed beaches, warm ocean water lapping at your feet and endless sunshine… This is how an anniversary should be celebrated and beautiful Barbados can more than accommodate. There's a plethora of jaw-dropping beaches on the island, with a popular choice being Bathsheba Beach, famous for its rugged rock formations. Away from the coastline, toast to the occasion on a tour of Mount Gay Rum distillery, which can be enjoyed on a Princess shore excursion. Cheers to that!
Auckland, New Zealand
If a day spent on the beach isn’t your bag, more adventurous couples will find lots to love in Auckland, New Zealand, where anniversary celebrations come in the form of adrenalin rushes. Zipline through a luscious forest, abseil and scramble across rockfaces on a canyoning adventure or cement 25 years together with a tandem bungee jump, if you dare.
Looking for somewhere completely different to home to celebrate 25 years together? Look no further than Alaska, a unique place that offers unforgettable experiences at every turn. The state’s capital city, Juneau, is a good place to start, as it provides spectacular sightseeing (including the stunning Mendenhall Glacier) alongside cosy restaurants and bars to refuel in afterwards. Go the extra mile and book a five-glacier seaplane exploration trip for a real once-in-a-lifetime experience.

No list of anniversary destinations would be complete without the French capital. And with good reason, as Paris really does exude romance. But where to begin? Why not take in the city views from atop the Eiffel Tower and then admire medieval cathedral Notre-Dame – both of which are bucket-list attractions and included on a Princess shore excursion. Then, grab a bottle of French wine, some local cheese and baked treats for an authentic picnic in the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg, which spans 56.8 acres and boasts pretty promenades, pristine lawns and the famous Medici Fountain.
For a holiday that’s closer to home but still feels a world away, beeline for Dublin. The streets of this vibrant and welcoming city are full of culture and adventure that’s all incredibly easy to access. Tick-off historical sightseeing by visiting Dublin Castle and the marvellous Library of Trinity College, take in some fresh air with a stroll around public park St. Stephen’s Green, and then sink an obligatory pint (or two) of perfectly poured Guinness at one of countless superb pubs. Sláinte!
