This June, we announced the arrival of the brand-new Sanctuary Collection, a selection of luxury staterooms that come with five-star service, access to exclusive onboard venues and a series of VIP extras.

Launching on Sun Princess on 14th October 2024, and available on Star Princess (who makes her inaugural voyage on 4th October 2025), our Sanctuary Collection comprises 80 Suites, 123 Mini-Suites and 12 Premium Deluxe Balconies.

Sanctuary Collection accommodation is our most chic, stylish and luxurious yet. Each stateroom comes with modern fittings, premium bathroom products and sumptuous bed linen, while British Butler Institute-trained stewards will deliver elevated service. Sanctuary guests can enjoy earlier access to their stateroom on embarkation day and a speedier departure on disembarkation day.

As a Sanctuary guest, you’ll receive our highest-level all-inclusive package, Princess Premier, which includes MedallionNet Wi-Fi for up to four devices per person, unlimited premium spirits, cocktails and hand-selected wines, unlimited speciality and casual dining, reserved theatre seating, OceanNow delivery wherever you are on the ship, room-service delivery, crew appreciation, and much more besides.

In addition, guests will have access to the Sanctuary Club. Situated on the top deck and accessed via a private lift, the Sanctuary Club is a serene, spa-inspired space where adults can relax on luxury sun loungers, bathe in the pool, unwind in the hot tub, sip signature cocktails at the bar, and enjoy an exclusive food offering, too. The Club even has its own programme of entertainment and wellness events, which include morning yoga classes, sailaway parties, silent discos and live DJ sets.

The Sanctuary Restaurant is another exclusive venue available for Sanctuary residents. Open for breakfast and dinner daily (and lunch on days at sea), this stylish restaurant will wow guests with one-off menus, all showcasing the finest ingredients, as well as thoughtfully curated themed nights. No reservations are required to dine at the SC Restaurant – you’re a VIP, just walk right in!

If you’ve splashed out on a Sanctuary Suite, you’ll also be able to visit the Suite Lounge. This two-storey lounge brims with natural light, thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows, and is an opulent space in which to enjoy a drink or two. Guests will receive a champagne welcome and be served by expert, dedicated bar staff. The venue also has its own programme of events, from aperitivo evenings to live jazz.

While luxury doesn’t come for nothing, opting for a Sanctuary Collection stateroom is less of a splurge than you might think.

When comparing the cost of our Sanctuary experience – with its superior accommodation, premium all-inclusive package, access to private venues, ultra-bespoke service, exclusive perks and much, much more – to the cost of a similar stateroom with added extras on top, it offers brilliant value.

For example, the cost of a Sanctuary Premium Deluxe Balcony for two people is only slightly more than a standard Premium Deluxe Balcony for two with the Princess Premier package. Factoring in all the money-can’t-buy extras that Sanctuary Collection guests benefit from throughout the duration of their cruise as well, we think upgrading is a no-brainer!
