Sample succulent steaks and grills at The Butchers Block by Dario © Princess
The Butcher’s Block by Dario
With more than 48 years of experience, butcher Dario Cecchini is known around the world for his shop and restaurants in the Tuscan village of Panzano in Italy. Cecchini appeared on the Netflix series Chef’s Table, showcasing his passion for responsible sourcing of produce and nose-to-tail cooking, as well as his grandmother’s recipes that he fell in love with as a child. Most recently, Cecchini has brought his butchery skills and signature cuts to deck 9 on Sun Princess, in the form of The Butcher’s Block by Dario, a pop-up-style venue, where guest can take a seat at the shared family-sized table to devour succulent grilled meats. It’s a carnivore’s paradise.
Love by Britto
Located on deck 17, at the aft of Sun Princess, this high-concept restaurant brings together the bold, passionate work of world-renowned Brazilian artist Romero Britto and the mouth-watering food of culinary genius Rudi Sodamin. An art-inspired dining experience celebrating the essence of love and joy, Love by Britto welcomes its guests with a glass of champagne before they embark on a seven-course tasting menu featuring oysters, lobster thermidor, wagyu chateaubriand and chocolate soufflé. It will be love at first bite, that’s for sure.
Experience the flavours of Japan at Makoto Ocean sushi bar © Princess
Makoto Ocean
Wherever you’re sailing to on Sun Princess, you’ll find an authentic taste of Japan at Makoto Ocean. Chef Makoto Okuwa, master of edomae sushi (a sushi style from Edo, now called Tokyo), brings 25 years of experience to this modern sushi bar, serving fun and exquisitely presented dishes that pay tribute to Japanese traditions. Celebrating the fruits of the sea, delicacies like salmon roe nigiri, jumbo shrimp tempura, scallop sashimi, spicy tuna maki roll, and matcha ice cream to finish off, all feature on his menu.
Brand-new Horizons Dining Room
Sun Princess debuts our first-ever three-storey Horizons Dining Room, with each floor offering a different eating experience. Not only does it serve up the high-quality fine dining that our guests know and love from our previous ships, but it also offers exclusive menus created in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America, as well as jaw-dropping aft views, thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Plenty of old favourites
It’s not all new on Sun Princess, however, as you’ll find many of our most popular longstanding dining venues onboard, too. Book your table at The Catch by Rudi, a dedicated seafood restaurant curated by Rudi Sodamin; or try Crown Grill, a stylish take on the New York steak house, serving up succulent ribs, chops and sirloin; or head to Sabatini’s, our modern Italian trattoria, to sample fresh focaccia, hand-made pasta, authentic regional mains and plenty of local wine to accompany it all.
Wash it all down with a drink
On top of the great eating options onboard, Sun Princess offers a drinking experience like no other. Combining the world of magic with the art of mixology, Spellbound by the Magic Castle is an immersive evening designed to capture the essence of Hollywood’s exclusive Magic Castle, a private magicians’ clubhouse. Hidden behind an unremarkable door, Spellbound is a warren of themed rooms – brimming with curiosities, illusions and interactive elements – where captivated guests will be brought out-of-this-world cocktails by sleight-of-hand servers.
Two of our stalwart bars also return on Sun Princess. Good Spirits at Sea with Rob Floyd will continue to offer exciting, destination-inspired cocktails designed and taste-tested by expert mixologist Rob Floyd, while Crooners will serve superlative versions of the classics (Sidecar or French Martini, anyone?) with a sleek, new-look design.
